The Sunday church service opens with singing, scriptural readings, an inspirational solo followed by the lesson sermon based on the weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson from our pastor the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The Sunday service last about an hour and Sunday School is held at the same time.
OUR WEDNESDAY SERVICE:
Wednesday evening testimony meetings include readings from the Bible, Science and Health and the singing of hymns. After the readings, the service is open for the congregation to share healings and inspirations resulting from the study and application of Christian Science.
All young people up to age 20 are warmly welcomed invited to attend Sunday School.
What to Expect:
Sunday School starts with the Superintendent calling everyone together for the opening exercises which consist of singing and a reading aloud together from the week’s Bible Lesson Quarterly. Everyone is invited , pray together silently, and then say the Lord’s Prayer out loud.
Next, students are divided into classes usually by grade level. Teachers come prepared with the week's bible lesson but are flexible and adjust to the needs of students each week. It’s a time for questions, answers, study, learning, practice, and healing.
When class time is over, everyone gathers together again for another hymn and the "scientific statement of being" from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
